Photo Students: Click on the "Photo Project" page for your first photo project due on Sept. 16th published to your "Photography" page on your website that we will be making asap.
All students: Sketchbook assign. due a week from today Sept. 9th at beginning of class.
Warm Up for Today:
1. What is the first thing you see. This is the focal point. The focal point is what first draws your eye, something that stands out.
2.What colors to do you see? Did he repeat any colors? Do you think van Gogh's use of repeating colors helps give a visual rhythm to the painting? How so? 
3. Can you see the brush strokes that created the stars, mountains, and tree stump? Is this real or visual texture? Texture is the feel of things.
4. How do you think van Gogh felt when he created the painting? How does it make you feel?
